 Hocking Hills  .... One word WOW !!  absolutely  beautiful !!  The  Cordes clan and the Zarlenga gang decided to rent a cabin in the hills and I mean HILLS of hocking hills state park. Between the multiple matches of monopoly games to the hot tub trips and sitting by the fire , we did manage to do some hiking  and  was it ever gorgegous !! Hocking Hills state park is the best kept secret !! It was the prettiest  place ,as state parks go...... It was  simply amazing !   ok then we went ZIP LINING   wow !! can you say FUN !

another end of a school year quickly coming........

As another year soon will close for my boys schooling, I can not  believe Shawn has already completed his freshmen year at B.W. and is now working his two summer jobs.Cameron has a few short weeks of his jr. year !!   Cameron was just awarded for his     academics .He has a 4.07 GPA. He is in the top 50 in his class  out of 180

I am so proud of both boys and all their  achievements !!

Jane turns 70 !

 What a surprise Tina and Joel  and Sherri and Tony had a picnic surprise party for Jane.  She was pleasantly surprised too !!  Tony her Son even came in for the big surprise.  What fun,we grilled  talked and laughed  and spent a fun afternoon together, AND it did not RAIN !!

a history of nearly 40 years.......

 when I met this family I was 10 yrs. old I never knew that nearly 40 yrs. later they would be like my second family. The Bersacola family  are the nicest, kindest,generous people I know, They take you in an your heart is theirs forever, you are treated like family.
I meet Laurie shortly after I got to know the family,and she has been my life long best friend !  There are no words to describe her other than  the most non judging, easy going, kind, good hearted person you will ever meet.

  Now the wedding this is Leslie the 4th of the  Bersacola gang,She has always been like a little sister. I am so happy she is happy, and Mike is a great guy. Congrats !! Leslie and MIke

I like days like these......

Today  was mother's day ,  we did not go anywhere, or do anything.....  but  that's okay with me.I got a lot done around the house cleaning and organizing, spending time with all my boys (hubby) included. I made bbq chicken and yummy baked apples and baked beans. It was uneventful but relaxing.......  They gave me the gift of them, some flowers and a nice note, and a little cash. I am blessed to have a great husband and two wonderful boys.

freshmen year completed, and I made it ........

wow.... where did the year go , Shawn has completed one year of  college at baldwin wallace. I cried , I worried, I missed him, everyday...... But I made it.
He is home for the summer. Back to work and a little fun and relaxation.
I am so proud of him.

man of few words......but, many instruments

• The magic of music...
• this kid never seems to amaze me,he is at his piano recital for just a very short time of playing he is already quite good. He sets his mind on playing an instrument and he does it !! the guitar, the bassoon, the trumpet , the piano, the organ, the clarinet. He loves his music  and he plays so well !! It is truly amazing, how his mind works, he is quite ,but, very talented !!  this ids my Cameron.

Is it always about winning......

Of course that is what one would think, BUT, after pondering it for the night,I have come up with this,I am thankful  for the oppurtunities Shawn  has had.He is an awesome athlete that has a extremely amazing talent , We are blessed to have a kid that is so motivated with  school, his grades, making a good life for himself , goals galore.As for track he made it to the conference, as a freshman !He ran his best time in prelims, and he gave it all he had on race day , and out of 9 schools and thousands of kids in the conference he was 5th in the 200 m and 8th in the 100m. So..... I say  and he does too,  more training , more weight lifting,and keep working  for a NEW goal  for the next year !!  congrats Shawn we are all so proud of you !!
