love to decorate for the holidays !!

 

Something I love to do is DECORATE !!  my home  and for holidays  

It is fun and I  just love the creative side of it. I  love mixing my Longaberger baskets, with antiques and country and primitive decor.  I  love it !! I like to use different textures and different heighth's. It really gives it interest that way.Textures sometimes include, fabric, florals wood items, glass, and sometimes metals  and I also seem to use odd numbers ,like 3 or 5  it is relaxing and enjoyable !!

a magical weekend

After 21 yrs. of marriage , well in a few weeks it will be. Gordon and I went to the Carolina's to watch Shawn run at the university  for B. W. and then we decided to go to the Biltmore. It is somewhere we have wanted to go for years !! It felt strange being with out our sons, but, we really enjoyed our time  together and the Biltmore was amazing !! so.... i call this a magical weekend !!

A man of many musical talents

He playing the bassoon, he plays the clarinet for marching band, the bassoon for concert band, he is in the pit for the high school play "Sugar" he will be playing the trumpet, he plays the guitar for fun and he takes piano lessons and is rather good at all of them !!
