weekend warrior

I spent the weekend doing a variety of things.... Watching Shawn run in the conference meet.They faired fairly well, Shawn did run his best indoor time in the 200m 22.9 But, with injuries and sore muscles the boys did not win.

 I  spent the other half of the weekend organizing, cleaning, dusting,  washing sheets and shopping  for Shawn;s up coming trip to Florida for spring training !!
 It feels good today to go to work with a sense of accomplishment for things I have wanted to get done for sometime. SO..... I say weekend warrior ... I  know today I can go to work ready for a hopefully , great night at work !!

What a fun night we all had celebrating  Shawn's birthday . We all had a great dinner ,fun , laughter and of course  CHEESECAKE  !!
I can not believe it has been 20 yrs.My baby is  20 !! I am very proud and happy  for my son . He is doing so well at B.W. and in life , I thank god everyday for my kids, my husband and my FAMILY.

this and that

Today,   I  worked on some lay outs ,tidy up the house ,did some hair cuts for customers,grocery shopped, made some awesome chicken alfredo, and am getting ready for "Modern Family".Tomorrow I am volunteering for the junior high, a reality money project  that they asked  for my help. Later we all go to Cheesecake Factory for Shawn's 20 Th Birthday. So.... did a lot of " this and  that today !!

Good weekend !!

What a fun weekend ....Friday  was the B. W. track meet where  Shawn placed a 2nd in the 55m and a 3 rd in the 200M the 4 x200 placed 1 st. !!  Saturday was a fun filled day of scrapping at Trish's, Cameron attended the Snowball dance where he had a great time !! and Sunday ....today Shawn came home for the day, we celebrated his 20th Birthday by opening his birthday gifts !! He poses with his new sports jacket.This  week , Thursday his actual birthday the entire family will attend at dinner at Cheesecake Factory in celebrating his  BIG day !! What a blessed weekend !!

Busy  week  of work.....I now look forward to the weekend.....

Track meet with Shawn, winter dance with Cameron, scrap time with Tina and I and a group of  great scrapping friends !! What could be better ?

Positive additude

When I wake up each day I feel, refreshed and ready for a new day.I try and live each day thinking positively, TRYING...... the key word. I want to live my life being kind to others, laugh have fun and not sweat the small stuff ! Each day  you make life happen and good things happen to those who look for it,embrace it and strive for it. I will surround myself  with those kinds of people .

Here comes the sun......

It sure felt good to see and FEEL the sun today.As I went out today  to do some hair appointments, it felt  good , spring like......
Tonight   we go to highland high school where Cameron was selected to be one of the performers in the ALL - STAR BAND.  I am  excited for him, They have really practiced a lot to be ready  for the big event !

MONDAY, MONDAY .....

Well ...back to  work  ugh...It is always better when you get there.Yesterday was a relaxing day.Did a few scrapbook related things, got totally caught up with my Project Life :)  and watched the GOD FATHER several times. It reminds me of my Dad , He  loved the God father. So... Today I get on the merry-go-round       , because it will be a busy week !! I will post a picture tonight, when Cameron shows me again. Til then.....

Playing catch-up

Well.......  I  am  making  head way on my project life that  my dear sister gave me for my birthday !! I am  only two weeks off,  and we are off to Kenyon College for a track meet.  GO  SHAWN...... RUN FAST !!!

new beginnings !!

One of  my New Years  resolutions was to  have my own  blog. I love looking at creative ideas and  being creative myself  I want to share my ideas as well. I also love the "Moments of our Lives" to capture and  bring into  other peoples lives. So, here we go  my  first post. Thanks  to my sister, I  am not computer savvy at all !!
